In life we all have an unspeakable secret, an irreversible regret, an
unreachable dream and an unforgettable love.

Nursing bra recommendations (from a MONA Mom)

  • Bravado! bras are so supportive that I plan to use them as sports bras once my son is weaned.
  • Hot Milk - very supportive and attractive, too!!
  • I got one at intimacy at the Tyson's corner mall. It was expensive!!! Over $100 but I literally wear it everyday (wash at night and line dry and it's dry by the morning). For me (with a very large bust) having a supportive bra is essential so it was worth every penny. Oh I should mention that it was a regular bra that they turned into a nursing one-- for free! Awesome!
  • With my third I found the best nursing bra of all time: the Anita 5041. http://www.amazon.com/Anita-Maternity-Womens-Underwire-Nursing/dp/B0011N0QFO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347736272&sr=8-1&keywords=anita+5041 The skin-colored version doesn't show through almost any white or dark shirt. They're so supportive and hold up well in the wash. Nordstrom also sells them in some sizes.
  • I started using the Genie bra. You can buy them at Target, Bjs, or CVS (gasp!). They give me amazing support and I can just pull them down. It is $20 for 2 and I'd gladly pay $20 for each. I keep telling my husband that when I am done nursing I might even wear them.
  • I'm almost at the 1 year mark and I did buy new bras for my second child when I returned to work. I got a nude and a black one at pea in the pod. They have a tiny gold medallion in the front. I can wear them with anything, they are very supportive and the store fitted me for them. If they still fit I will use them even when I am done nursing.
